John V. Sivo, co-founder and President, TykeTEK, Inc.
John is a Cum Laude graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. John also graduated with honors from Midwest Culinary Institute earning his Certificate of Culinary Arts.
Before co-founding TykeTEK, Inc., John was the vice president of operations for Bearings Manufacturing Company heading up their Chicago manufacturing division. John also worked for 8 years as a Senior Management Consultant at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and 3 years as a Senior Systems Analyst for Loral/Grumman Aerospace under contract to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Space Station program.
T.J. Corcoran, co-founder and Chief Technical Officer, TykeTEK, Inc.
T.J. is an honors graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his Masters in Early Childhood Education (MEd) and his Bachelors in Finance, Economics and Real Estate. T.J. also received his MBA from The Fischer School of Business at The Ohio State University with a triple emphasis in Real Estate, Operations and Logistics Management, and Hospital and Health Services Administration. T.J. is currently completing a law degree at Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
T.J. worked for ten years as a Senior Management Consultant and Partner Candidate for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) specializing in large scale systems integration projects. Before co-founding TykeTEK, Inc., T.J. founded Cincinnati-based Little Leprechaun Academy, which have been nationally recognized for their innovative adoption of technology.
Jennifer Craig, Director of Marketing
Jennifer oversees all aspects of marketing and advertising for TykeTEK, Inc, and brings over 17 years of corporate and marketing communications experience to the team. She spent 12 years as Director of Marketing Communications for one of the nation's largest technology wholesalers and has worked closely to develop marketing strategies for companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Intel and Sony. She has been with TykeTEK, Inc since the inception. Jennifer is assisted by Jacob Haas, graphics and design specialist.
Products:
To develop a suite of innovative, web-based software solutions tailored to the specific educational and managerial needs of the childcare and early education industry. To create comprehensive and seamlessly integrated web-based solutions which make the currently available, disparate, desktop-installed "point-solutions" obsolete.
Economic:
To leverage inexpensive, globally available knowledge capital on a contract and adhoc basis to minimize product lifecycle expenses. To leverage open-source technologies and 3rd party hosting services (where practical) to minimize software and hardware expenses. To operate the company on a sound financial basis of profitable growth, increasing the value for our shareholders.
Management:
To leverage the 20+ years of combined Big 6 systems integration consulting expertise of our founders in the startup, growth, and management of this new software development venture. To create career opportunities for our employees and to foster creativity and innovation in the workplace.
Social:
To be active, outspoken advocates for children's education and issues, and to be a financially contributing role model for the preservation of globally dwindling endangered species. To operate our company in a socially responsible manner including leveraging recycled materials whenever possible.
